Full-Day Itinerary – Walking with Alpacas & Natural Dyeing

Welcome, Safety Briefing & Community Introduction
Your alpaca walking tour begins with hotel pick-up in Cusco or the Sacred Valley and a scenic drive to a traditional Quechua community. On arrival, you are welcomed by local hosts and introduced to the alpacas you will walk with. Your guide shares basic safety instructions, how to hold the rope and how to interact respectfully with the animals, as well as a short explanation about the community and their connection with alpacas.

Nature Walk with Your Alpaca
Once everyone feels comfortable, you start a gentle walk through fields, terraces and Andean paths, each traveler accompanied by their own alpaca whenever possible. As you walk, your guide and hosts point out medicinal plants, farming practices and sacred mountains, while you enjoy plenty of time for photos and quiet moments with your alpaca.
